Day 1 : Depart from Delhi to Aut
Upon reaching Delhi, head to your boarding point. Board an AC Volvo overnight bus to Manali, with a stop at Aut.
Day 2 : Aut to Jibhi
Early in the morning, your bus will arrive at Aut Tunnel, where you will get off and transfer to Jibhi in a private vehicle.
Upon reaching Jibhi, check in to your hotel and relax for a while. Nestled in Himachal Pradesh’s Kullu district, Jibhi is a scenic offbeat village known for its natural beauty.
Explore this favorite backpacker destination by trying trout fishing or visiting the Great Himalayan National Park. Enjoy an overnight stay at your hotel in Jibhi.
Day 3: Jibhi to Rampur
Wake up to a stunning sunrise in Jibhi and enjoy a delicious breakfast.
Travel through dense deodar forests, breathtaking valleys, snow-covered peaks, and fast-flowing rivers on your way to Rampur. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax.
In the evening, explore the nearby surroundings before returning to the hotel. Stay overnight in Rampur.
Day 4: Rampur to Chitkul
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise. After a delicious breakfast, set off to explore the stunning views of Kinnaur Valley.
Follow the Sutlej River to Karcham, then take a right towards Chitkul, following the scenic Baspa River. Chitkul, the last inhabited village before the Indo-China border, is home to the famous ‘Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba,’ where you can enjoy a tasty meal.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel or homestay in Chitkul.
Day 5: Chitkul to Kalpa
After a hearty breakfast, begin your journey to Kalpa.
Drive back to Karcham and continue deeper into the valley towards Powari. From Powari, take a left towards ReoKong Peo, the main town of Kinnaur district, before heading to Kalpa.
Spend the night in the scenic village of Kalpa, offering stunning views of the Kinnaur Kailash mountains. Enjoy an overnight stay at a camp or homestay in Kalpa.
Day 6: Kalpa to Kaza
After an early breakfast, set out for Kaza, passing through the stunning Spiti Valley.
Travel along the Indo-Tibetan Highway and cross the Khab Bridge, where the Spiti and Satluj rivers meet. Stop at Nako Lake for a short break and lunch. As you cross Sumdo, you officially enter Spiti Valley.
Just 3 km after Sumdo, take a right detour to visit the 500-year-old Mummy in Gue Village. After exploring, continue your journey to Kaza.
Enjoy an overnight stay in Kaza.
Day 7: Sightseeing in Kaza
After an early breakfast, head out to explore the breathtaking beauty of Kaza.
Start your day with a visit to Key Monastery, a stunning Buddhist monastery set in a bowl-shaped valley. Then, travel to Langza, one of the highest motorable villages in the world at 14,500 ft. Continue your journey to Komic, the highest village connected by a road, and Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office.
After exploring these picturesque villages, return to your hotel in Kaza for an overnight stay.
Day 8: Kaza to Chandratal via Kunzum La
After breakfast, set out on your journey to the stunning crescent-shaped Chandratal Lake.
Cross Kunzum Pass and take a right before Baltal to reach the lake. You’ll need to park your vehicle and trek for about 2 km to reach this breathtaking destination. Also known as the “Moon Lake,” Chandratal is surrounded by towering mountains on one side and a cirque on the other.
As the sun sets, the lake shimmers under a starlit sky, creating a magical experience. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at camps near Chandratal.
Day 9: Chandratal Lake to Manali via Rohtang
Today, you will bid farewell to Spiti Valley and begin your journey towards Manali.
En route, cross the scenic Rohtang Pass and reach Manali by evening. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax for a while.
In the evening, explore Manali’s vibrant markets and shop for souvenirs.
Enjoy an overnight stay at a hotel in Manali.
Day 10: Manali to Delhi
After breakfast, board an AC Volvo bus from Manali to Delhi. You will reach Delhi by evening, marking the end of your unforgettable Spiti Valley tour.
