7 Days/6 Nights
Day 1 : Arrival in Shimla/ Kufri
Arrive in Shimla or Kufri by afternoon and check in to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the nearby attractions at your own pace. In the evening, join an ice-breaking session to get an overview of your Winter Drive and a detailed safety briefing. Relax and enjoy an overnight stay at your hotel in Shimla or Kufri.
Day 2 : Shimla to Rakcham
Begin your day with a tasty breakfast and get ready to explore the stunning Kinnaur Valley. Drive along the historic Indo-Tibetan Highway to Karcham, then turn towards Rakcham. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of apple orchards, dense pine and apricot trees, green meadows, and patches of pink millet fields. End the day at a campsite in Rakcham, surrounded by the natural beauty of the valley.
Day 3: Rakcham to Kalpa
Begin your day with a nutritious breakfast and gear up for an off-road adventure to the last village near the border. Travel from Rakcham to Chitkul, home to the famous last Dhaba on the Indo-Tibetan border. After exploring Chitkul, retrace your route to Rakcham and continue your journey to Kalpa. Relax and spend the night at a hotel in Kalpa.
Day 4: Kalpa to Kaza | Explore the “Ajanta of the Himalayas
Wake up early and start your day with a healthy breakfast. Then, set off on your journey, crossing Sumdo to enter the stunning Spiti Valley. As you head towards Kaza, enjoy the thrill of driving on snow-covered roads, with plenty of chances to stop and take amazing photos. After an exciting day of adventure, reach Kaza by evening and relax at a cozy homestay for the night.
Day 5: Kaza to Chicham
Start your day early with a hearty breakfast and get ready for an exciting drive to some of the world’s highest inhabited villages. Along the way, stop at famous spots like Langza, visit the world’s highest post office in Hikkim, and explore the historic Ki Monastery. Finally, arrive in Chicham and settle in for the night at a hotel or homestay.
Day 6: Chicham to Nako
Start your day with a delicious breakfast before heading to Nako, the last village of Kinnaur Valley, located on the way to Spiti Valley. On your return journey, take a short detour to explore Dhankar, Khab Bridge, Gue Village, and Nako Monastery. Spend a relaxing evening by the peaceful Nako Lake, near the monastery, and enjoy a stunning sunset. Stay overnight in Nako.
Day 7: Nako to Narkanda
Wake up early and enjoy a tasty breakfast before leaving Kinnaur Valley and heading towards Narkanda. Drive along the roaring Satluj River, through dense pine forests, and across high mountain passes with breathtaking views of the snow-covered Himalayas. If time allows, take a scenic drive through Narkanda’s fragrant apple orchards. Arrive in Narkanda by evening and conclude your journey with unforgettable memories.
